With an influx of guests, hired help on holiday and an onslaught of dinners and lunches to attend, it is no wonder my pea-sized brain cannot come up with a coherent review of this week’s episode. Initially, I thought I would skip this week’s review and do a combined one next week. However, I do want to read everyone else’s comments on the episode as well.
Following are a series of random thoughts about the latest episode – it goes without saying that they are in no particular order.
1) Does anyone else’s blood sizzle at Bano aunty? I know mine does.
2) Please do not tell me Granny will succumb to Zainee’s incompetent way of taking care of her.
3) How come neither Meesha nor Rooman ever visit Granny? Have they totally forgotten her or are they too confident that she must be doing well. (Surely, no one has any “khush fehmi” about Zainee and her ability to manage medicines and all.)
4) Did anyone catch Rooman’s expression when Meesha was talking to the gardener? Faizan Khawaja was brilliant in today’s episode!
5) Mayer IS a mama’s boy – didn’t Meesha know that already?
6) Loved Mayer’s last sentence before the episode ended! At least he thinks his slap was “below the standard”.
7) Bano aunty deserves a Bahu like Zainee or worse! Honestly!
8) The story seems to be on a merry-go-round. Will the presence of Shah Baba speed things up?
9) Poor Aimee! Or maybe not!
10) Loved all Rooman-Meesha scenes. Excellent chemistry!
11) Why are the characters referring to incidents that never came on the screen? Is this an editing blooper?
12) Farjad is a Daddy’s boy!
13) How did Meesha come across Saifullah in her childhood? I am desperately waiting to find this one out!
Overall: A slow episode this week, and hence, not much to write. Hope things will speed up next week.
